Community Connecting
This service is designed to be more short-term and focused on supporting the individual to get involved in their local community.
This includes tailoring opportunities for work and leisure and supporting clients to do this independently where possible. An example would be: Finding out your unique interests and goals, researching related local opportunities available, then trying out different activities together to see which you enjoy.
Ultimately, we want the outcome to be in line with your goals. This could be anything from getting a paid job, taking on a local organisation role or simply finding a new circle of friends.
Group Sessions
We run several community clubs for clients to meet and socialise. In Corby we run a social activity group, in Northampton we have a quiz team, snooker group, music group, bowls group and a social activity group.
We have a long established inclusive football team playing for Corby Town Inclusive FC across Northamptonshire and further afield.

PA Support
PA Support is all about helping our clients achieve their goals based on the environments around them, such as their home or local community.
Types of support include:
Independent living skills, travel training, chaperoning to volunteering placements/social activities, visiting places of interest and supporting our clients to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. Examples include swimming, gym sessions and other sports.
Supported Employment
We support people with disabilities into paid employment. This will include supporting clients at all stages of the recruitment process, such as client engagement, vocational profiling, employer engagement, job matching, in-work support, and career development. We engage with local employers to support their understanding of learning disabilities and create opportunities for our clients.
Short Breaks
Short breaks enable you to have a change from your daily routine and give parents/carers a break from their role.
During a short break, clients have the opportunity to develop their independent living skills, take part in fun tasks, and benefit from an enjoyable time away from their normal routine. Some of the places we have visited include:
Center Parcs, Lake Windermere, London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Hull, Brighton, Newport and Ireland (for a wDBS Snooker Tournament)
